What band combinations are used for U.S. Landsat Analysis Ready Data (ARD) browse images?

Answer:

U.S Landsat Analysis Ready Data (ARD) browse images are displayed as false color composites, similar to Landsat Collection 1 Level-1 top of atmosphere reflectance browse images. However, unlike the Landsat Level-1 browse, no color stretch is applied and the data's 30-meter resolution is maintained.

Landsat 8 Operational Land Imager (OLI)

Landsat 8 ARD browse images are created using top of atmosphere reflectance bands 6, 5, and 4.

Landsat 7 Enhanced Thematic Mapper Plus (ETM+) and Landsat 4-5 Thematic Mapper (TM)

Landsat 7 ETM+ and Landsat 4-5 TM ARD browse images are created using top of atmosphere reflectance bands 5, 4, and 3.
