Question:

How do I determine which U.S. Landsat ARD tile covers my area of interest?

Answer:

To determine which U.S. LandsatARD tile covers your area of interest, you can use the following tools.

The Landsat Analysis Ready Data (ARD) Tile Conversion Tool converts from a Landsat WRS-2 path/row or latitude/longitude coordinates into the corresponding U.S. Landsat ARD tiles, and displays the results on the map as seen in the example below.

EarthExplorer can also be used to locate the tile that covers your area of interest, while seaching for U.S. Landsat ARD data (see screenshot of EarthExplorer's Data Set tab below). To determine which tile covers your area of interest, enter your area of interest, select the U.S. Landsat ARD dataset, and conduct your search. When results are returned, the browse image for each tile is visible, and the footprint and browse overlay for each tile can be selected to see the exact area each tile covers on the map.
