Landsat Science Team Publications Search Tool
Landsat Science Team members are national and international leaders in land remote sensing, and evaluate operational and data management strategies to meet the requirements of all Landsat users, including the needs of policy makers at all levels of government. Team rosters and meeting agendas can be viewed on http://landsat.usgs.gov/science_Landsat_Science_Team.php. This tool contains items published by Landsat Science Team members - journal articles, book sections, reports, and conference presentations.
- Refbase performs a "contains" search by default. This means that Refbase will return all records where the searched
field contains the specified search string. For example, searching the title field for "arctic" returns records with that
string in the title, whether the string is by itself or part of another word: arctic, antarctic, Antarctica, subarctic.
- Refbase searches fields for the string of words you enter into the search box. Do not enclose words with quotation marks.
- Refbase fields and operators allow you to search for two or more words that are not necessarily next to each other.
To conduct a query such as "contains XXX AND contains YYY," simply start your search with the first search term (XXX), then
use the Search within Results form above the search results list to search for the second term (YYY). With this method, you
can quickly perform complex searches on multiple fields and using multiple search terms.
