Landsat Missions
Over its 37-year history, the Landsat program has acquired data every year over the United States. International acquisitions have been less comprehensive. Please click on the link below to view maps of the Landsat archive from 1972 to 2008.

Each slide includes the year the data were collected and from which satellite and sensor. Because most years have multiple maps associated with several satellites and sensors, the slides have been sorted by date, then satellite, then sensor.
Please note that the International Ground Stations may have data that are not archived at the USGS. For information on the ground stations, please visit http://landsat.usgs.gov/about_ground_stations.php.
Satellites are abbreviated:
L1 = Landsat 1
L2 = Landsat 2
L3 = Landsat 3
L4 = Landsat 4
L5 = Landsat 5
L7 = Landsat 7
Sensors:
MSS = Multispectral Scanner
TM = Thematic Mapper
ETM+ = Enhanced Thematic Mapper Plus
